Rad Laser Falcon Web 3 Advising Services

Services

  • I offer hourly consulting on Web3 strategies and best practices. Having successfully launched a large generative collection of 12,345 NFTs that sold out in 18 minutes.

I can help you navigate the emerging terrain of Web 3 and connect you to the people and resources who can support your successful participation.

  • I am a frequent contributor to Web 3 conferences and content creators, notably NFT NYC and DecentralCon Miami.

I have a particular interest in how Web 3 provides opportunity and access at scale, community building and ways to optimize the technology in ways that go far beyond cartoon JPGs.

  • As a partner in DANKO and with a deep love of art and art history, I’m particularly interested in the opportunities for creators in Web 3.

I’ve advised on fine art drops from KMNDZ to Shantelle Martin x Atari and have facilitated collaborations like the recent W Hotels Mary Lai artist residency in partnership with Whim screens for their featured digital artists gallery.

Serving individual artists and large brands focused on amplifying artists, by providing an ongoing royalty mechanism and seamless/trustless provenance is a primary utility of Web 3, that will revolutionize the art world, evidenced by Sothebys and Christies deep forays into the space.

Rad Laser Falcon was a pseudonym I created when I entered Web3. The moniker allowed me a certain anonymity to move freely in the online world of Web3, where anonymity is prized.

I’m often assumed to be male and with that comes a level of respect many women don’t enjoy online. Moving through the space as ’Rad’ has been an interesting study in the role of gender dynamics in business and community building among strangers.

As a frequent speaker at conferences and a contributor to panels and online spaces and podcasts, I now use my own photo as my profile image, but this strange name has stuck with me.

Web 3 Case Studies & Advising

Ethereals NFT Digital Collectibles
  • Co-Founder & CEO

  • Ethereals was one of the first large generative projects to launch in 2021. It was conceived of by folks who were active collectors in the space, who longed to create a project themselves. I was brought into the founder circle by 4 of the original founders to help with lore writing. (The project ultimately grew to 8 founders in total by launch time.)

My role quickly expanded to lead of Creative Strategy and eventually to CEO.

  • I formulated a strategy for project management, timelines, business structure and creative strategy.

As one of the few founders with experience establishing and running a company I took on an ever increasing array of responsibilities. I helped grow the Discord server to 2K within the first 2 days of launch and 14K+ currently, to get the socials to 11K followers all with no paid media.

I created all lore for Ethereals, created all content and design direction for the website and token mint site, apparel and brand standards. I also created the strategy behind the trait generation for the core collection to seamlessly integrate with external brand partners as a ‘proof of concept’ for digital collectibles.

I worked hard to ensure that all of the major mechanics of Web 3 were represented in the project to create robust case studies for the potential of the technology including: a Decentraland Metaverse Clubhouse, a token ($BOO), a token burn mechanism to mint a companion collection in reverse (the first of it’s kind), an apparel collection that was mirrored in digital wearables and POAP creation for participation in both physical and virtual experiences.

Ethereals is beloved as an OG NFT collection and was even included as a cameo in the launch of Twitter Blue.

Through Ethereals I helped to drive success for well known projects in the space including: Toy Boogers, WVRPS by Warpsound and Average Creatures.

  • Creative Strategy lead for the launch of this limited edition art drop from famed artist Johnny ‘KMNDZ’ Rodriguez

  • This was among the first digital collectible offerings from LGND. Other art drops included Pray Station, Michael Reeder and Dave Navarro.

  • I helped to create strategy and tactics for socials, collaborations with other projects for allow lists, hosted AMA Twitter Spaces with noteworthy publications like Juxtapoz Magazine and directed the growth of the Discord server.

The project launched on LGND at the beginning of the bear market with a high mint price. Despite this the collection minted a large percentage of pieces before KMNDZ burned the rest. The loyal Little Beast collector community that was built has the collection holding strong with less than 1% listed for sale.

Polycade x Shantell Martin in collaboration with Atari X for Asteroids
  • Creative Strategy

  • Polycade is a well known designer game cabinet manufacturer. They were able to secure the licensing rights to original Atari games. The games would be re-imagined by prominent fine artists, the first of which was Shantell Martin for Asteroids.

Shantell replaced the well known Asteroid’s art with her ‘faceteroids’, the avatars of faces that are ubiquitous to her art.

Further I helped create revenue models and mechanics of game play as well as refinements in the minting process as well as visual representations and components in the metadata.

Some of these tactics will be implemented as core principles for subsequent games as they are released with new artists and licensed games.

  • I was brought onboard to advise on launch strategies 10 days before the mint went live. My plan helped grow the social following on Twitter from >2K to 10k in just 7 days, organically with no paid media.

I also was able to secure collaborations with notable projects for allow lists from large art forward communities like Ghost Club, Cryptoon Goons, Ethereals, Fomo Mofos, INFTspaces & House of First.

Rad Laser Falcon Web 3 Basics

Rad Talk | Web 3 Basics

  • Twitter spaces host for series on hot topics in Web 3

  • The Web 3 space moves so quickly and much of the timely information is distributed via Twitter. Many of the spaces are male dominated, focused on trading and offer little value, especially for people entering the industry.

  • I created a weekly space to discuss the mechanics of Web 3 that would add educational value. Shows focused on Community Building, Derivative Use Case, and IP Basics. The shows proved very popular and led to other speaking opportunities and professional connections.

Web 3 Salon Series at Two Bit Circus in Downtown Los Angeles Arts District
  • Event organizer, panel moderator, MC

  • Many Web 3 events and conferences are still elitist in nature with a clear line drawn between presenters and attendees, with little value add. Add to that the infrequency of events means that information is often outdated on arrival.

  • Our monthly approach to curated topical Web 3 micro-events has been enthusiastically received. They are not the ‘echo-chambers’ that are seen in most conferences.

There are opportunities for attendees to network and workshop ideas with panelists and to have intimate discussion in a relaxed setting.

Because the events are topic focused, attendees can more meaningfully engage with the mechanics of that particular focus. Past events have been everything from a primer on Web 3 to focused on Fine Art or Music with leaders in Web 3. Future events are in the works for Security, Gaming, Street Art and Photography.

The Art of Web 3 featuring: Parin Hedari, Gabe Weis, Steven Daily, Soul Curry and Will Carsola by INFTspaces
  • Event Organizer, Art Curator and MC

  • INFTspaces is an art NFT project that curates art opportunities for collectors. They wanted to create a ‘live minting’ experience to add an experiential element to the collecting process. They approached me to act as curator and as a liaison for the collection that would be minted.

  • I have created strong relationships with many of the high-value artists of Web 3.

The event and launch was a resounding success. We live minted at the launch event and did individual reveals on-site. The collection completely sold out with many in attendance marveling at the cool experience and the access to high-value artists at a reasonable entry point.

  • Contributor & Advisory Team

  • Web 3 Twitter Spaces and podcasts can tend toward hyper-male and extractive conversations that have low diversity and optimism. Rachel Wilkins wanted an antidote to the negativity and ‘bro-culture’ and started hosting daily spaces dedicated to the positive aspects of Web 3.

She invited me to be a regular contributor and eventually to join her advisor board. I enthusiastically agreed as the world needs all the good news we can find.

  • Real Good Media has hosted social good Web 3 conferences, fundraising efforts for non-profits and regularly partners with sponsored segments like Time Pieces and Seva Love. Our shows live on Twitter Spaces, Twitch, YouTube, Instagram and Medium.

At Real Good Media, we champion uplifting news and stories to inspire positive change.

With a focus on technology, wellness, and culture, we address the mind, body, and spirit of the future. By weaving these elements together, Real Good Media aspires to inspire, empower, and uplift our audience, collaboratively working towards a brighter tomorrow.

Our vision entails incorporating “real talk” into our programming, nurturing open conversations and critical thinking. We recognize the importance of engaging in thoughtful dialogue, acknowledging that genuine positivity goes beyond mere superficial optimism.

Real Good News remains dedicated to learning, evolving, and adapting within the ever-changing Web 3 landscape by collaborating with our community advisors, ensuring our brand is molded by diverse viewpoints and collective wisdom. This collaborative approach enables us to stay agile and responsive to our audience’s needs and interests.

  • Guest Speaker on Episode 3 of Bobby Hundreds popular Web 3 podcast, Bomb Talk with Bobby Hundreds

  • The topic of the show was the role of women in Web 3. I joined Betty (co-founder of Deadfellaz) and some of my co-founders of Ethereals, Taylor Star and Rachel Wolchin.

  • This podcast took place in the height of the bull run of Web 3 and only 11 days after the launch of Ethereals on October 18, 2021.

The conversation ran the gamut of what it’s like to launch a large generative collection, the roles and responsibilities of founders, opportunities we all could imagine for creators and collectors as a result of the emerging technology, and what it’s like to be a woman in Web 3. The full podcast episode can be heard here.
